C4rmmt

The Centre builds tools, methods and performances that reshape how music and media are produced, delivered and researched across live settings, immersive experiences, and online platforms.

Our work covers creative generative AI, immersive sound, interactive music, XR applications for music such as virtual concerts and metaverse experiences, visual music, music production, and sound design. We combine practice-based creative work with rigorous technical and empirical research, delivering software, prototypes, publications and public installations and concerts.

Sessions cover various types of artistic and media co‑creation exampes, augmented composition, assistive systems, user studies that evaluate mixed-initiative workflows and more. Papers and demos illustrate how humans and models jointly generate musical ideas and performances. Paper presentations, demos or creative work can be submitted.
